The 2010 WAWA Show will mark the fifth production
of this celebration of women in the arts and we are proud to bring
you two exciting shows! An acronym for "We Are Women Artists",
the show's creator Amanda Mabro, took partial inspiration from
comedienne Gilda Radner's Legendary "Baba Wawa"
sketch. Her main inspiration for the event is fostering community among
female artists in the local and international community. The original
production of The WAWA Show was a smash hit showcasing women artists
spanning across the artistic spectrum.
Now in its 5th year, The WAWA Show brings you two special Valentine's
events this Febraury 13th and 14th in Montreal, Quebec. With a little
taste of vaudeville flare, prepare to be entertained and dazzled by some of
Canada's best performers and visual artists.
